From a few sun-soaked days of pure indulgence to a multi-centre trip encompassing Morocco’s historic highlights and breathtaking landscapes, the specialist team can advise on every aspect of an unforgettable holiday - finding the perfect accommodation, recommending local restaurants and arranging expert local guides to take clients truly under the skin of their chosen location.

New for 2014, Kirker has added a number of hotels to its Morocco selection:

In Marrakech

Set outside the city walls, yet a mere ten-minute stroll from Djemaa El Fna Square, the five-star Naoura Barrière offers a resort-style haven away from the exhilarating pace of the medina. Where better to relax after a day’s bartering than on a sun-lounger next to the hotel’s large outdoor swimming pool or in its state-of-the-art spa, before dinner at one of its two lovely restaurants? As well as 86 rooms and suites, families can enjoy the privacy of their own riad, ranging from three to seven bedrooms, each with its own pool. Three nights are from £832 pp*.

Home to some of Marrakech’s most beautiful hotels, the verdant and delightful La Palmeraie area is the setting for the five-star Mosaic Palais Aziza & Spa. This luxury boutique residence -– just 15 minutes’ drive from the city - offers a choice of guest rooms, suites, villas and pavilions, all decorated in classic Moorish style and laid out amongst five acres of beautifully-kept gardens with several swimming pools, whilst traditional Moroccan treatments can be enjoyed at the hotel’s impressive hammam and spa. Three nights are from £884 pp*.

Widely considered to be La Palmeraie’s premium resort, the five-star deluxe Palais Namaskar sits in splendour amid 12 acres of greenery and lakes, a temple of tranquillity and architectural symmetry just 25 minutes from central Marrakech. Each of the opulently-furnished deluxe rooms and junior suites boasts its own enormous terrace with outdoor heated Jacuzzi, reached by crossing a ‘harmony pool’, while the secluded one-bedroom villas have a private pool and garden. The hotel also offers a choice of no less than three palaces - perfect for an unforgettable special occasion or family celebration. Three nights are from £1,238 pp*.

In the Marrakecj Countryside

Nestling between the Agafay Desert and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, The Capaldi offers deluxe five-star accommodation and service, irresistibly combined with a location that allows easy access to the city - Marrakech is a 45-minute drive away - and the surrounding countryside. Equally appealing to activity lovers as it is to those simply seeking some sublime down time, there are acres of manicured gardens in which to stroll as well as two large swimming pools, a spa with traditional hammam and even a small cinema. Three nights are from £798 pp*.

In Casablanca

Ideal as a centrally-located spot from which to explore Morocco and a great contrast to the more historic cities of Marrakech and Fes, Casablanca is also home to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in the country. Stay at the four-star deluxe Le Doge, a restored Art Deco house that lies just a few steps from the city’s Sacré Coeur Cathedral. Each of the hotel’s 16 bedrooms is dedicated to a famous personality from the 1930s, such as Ernest Hemingway and Coco Chanel, and offers a stylish, intimate ambience alongside a restaurant, a spa with sauna, Jacuzzi and hammam, and a rooftop garden with fine views over the city. Three nights are from £849 pp*.

*Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two sharing and include flights (London – regional departures available on request), private transfers, accommodation with breakfast, Kirker Guide Notes (for Marrakech) and the services of the Kirker Concierge to book expert local guides or a table for dinner. All Kirker holidays to Marrakech (including La Palmeraie) and Fes also include a private city tour.

As well as expanding its accommodation selection in Morocco, Kirker’s new brochure also includes several suggested itineraries, providing a tempting glimpse of the type of holiday it can create for discerning clients. These include Marrakech & the Atlantic Coast, combining four nights at the city’s four-star superior Riad El Cadi with three nights at the three-star superior Ocean Vagabond Guest House in the charming seaside town of Essaouira. The price is from £998 pp (two sharing) including British Airways flights (Gatwick) to Marrakech/from Agadir, accommodation with breakfast and private transfers throughout.

Or enjoy a Glimpse of the North, an eight-night journey encompassing Colonial Tangier (three nights at the four-star superior Le Mirage), Imperial Fes (three nights at the four-star deluxe Le Riad Fes) and cosmopolitan Casablanca (two nights at the four-star deluxe Le Doge). The price is from £1,698 pp (two sharing) including Royal Air Maroc flights (Heathrow), accommodation with breakfast and private transfers throughout.
