Award-winning Linden Homes is building brand new homes in Howden in 2014 – following the sell-out success of the town’s King Edgar’s Court development.

Land at Knedlington Road in the town has been purchased and planning permission attained by Linden Homes, and will see the building of 10 four and five-bedroom executive homes at the Pilgrim’s Rest development, designed to complement the existing area.

Details of the house types have yet to be finalised, but the announcement follows the success of the 54-home King Edgar’s Court development, built within the shadows of the St Peter and St Paul Minster Church.

And Linden Homes – voted Large Housebuilder of the Year at the industry awards at the end of 2013 – could be on site as early as February.

In the meantime, potential purchasers can join the many others who have already registered their forward interest in this exciting 2014 development at lindenhomes.co.uk/developments/yorkshire/howden-yorkshire

Linden Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “Our fantastic homes at the King Edgar’s Court development really did capture the imagination of home-hunters from around the area.

“The popularity of the development led to the purchase of additional land close by, where we anticipate the proposed individual homes will be a welcome addition to the delightful market town, and given its location to the motorway networks and rail links, we are confident it to prove to be very popular.”

Howden is perfectly positioned a comfortable 10 miles Selby and 25 miles from historic York, and also provides excellent links to the M62.
