Homebuyers in Devon can enjoy a taste of life in one of Taylor Wimpey’s beautiful new homes at its in-demand Cranbrook development near Exeter with the opening of a new viewhome.

The beautiful two-bedroom ‘Dovedale’ coach house is now open to prospective purchasers looking for their ideal place and offers an insight into the appealing design and spacious interior layout of the properties at Cranbrook, an attractive new community of eco-friendly homes.

Janine Copleston, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “While it’s possible to get a good idea of what a brand new home will be like from drawings and plans, the opportunity to step inside a viewhome allows property-seekers to get a real feel for the place and visualise how they can make it their own.

“Anyone who is interested in securing a stunning new home at Cranbrook should pay us a visit as soon as possible – or somebody else could beat them to it!”

The ‘Dovedale’ is priced from £159,995 and features a spacious kitchen/living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom, while outside, there’s a garage.

Alternatively, there’s a superb selection of two, four and five-bedroom homes available to buy at Cranbrook, priced from £154,995.

To make securing their perfect property even easier, purchasers can benefit from the Help to Buy scheme at the development, which enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Located eight miles away from Exeter, Cranbrook is a brand new community of eco-friendly homes and is the first new town of its kind in Devon.

Parents will appreciate a choice of new primary and secondary schools in the area, while a range of community facilities, including a health centre and a central shopping street, are being created as part of this new development.

For commuters, junction 29 of the M5 is just minutes away for journeys to Exeter and Bristol, while a new railway station is due to be built for 2015 offering direct services to London Waterloo.

To find out more about the new homes on sale at Cranbrook, property-seekers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off London Road, Exeter, Devon, EX5 2DY, and open daily from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
