Savvy investors are being invited to a special event where they can find out more about the lucrative financial returns a superb buy-to-let apartment could offer them at Taylor Wimpey’s The Heights development in Coventry.

The leading housebuilder is teaming up with local estate agency Maison Estates Ltd for the event on Saturday 11th January at The Heights, off Aldermoor Lane. There, clued-up landlords will be able to find out how they could achieve potential rental yields of around 7% with a buy-to-let apartment.

For example, an elegant two-bedroom apartment at The Heights, priced from just £107,995 can command around £625 a month in rent, delivering a 7% yield on the investment.

Elaine Taylor, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Coventry is a growing city which is undergoing a huge regeneration programme, bringing with it potential tenants from all walks of life – from students at Coventry and Warwick Universities to those relocating to work for one of the increasing number of firms based in the area.

“Buying an apartment to let at The Heights is a perfect way to make more of your money, rather than letting it languish in a low-performing savings account.

“Everyone, from experienced buy-to-let landlords to those who are considering investing in a rental property for the first time, can find out more about the returns they could enjoy from a property at The Heights by coming along to our investment event on January 11th.”

There’s a number of two-bedroom apartments priced from £107,995 currently available at The Heights, which feature an open-plan kitchen/lounge, an en-suite master bedroom, an additional bedroom and main bathroom, as well as an allocated parking space.

Lying just to the east of Coventry’s vibrant city centre, The Heights benefits from a well-connected urban village location and will feature attractive green open spaces along with new cycle routes and footpaths.

An Asda superstore and a selection of restaurants and local shops are within walking distance, as well as the Alan Higgs Centre, home to the Coventry City FC Academy, which boasts extensive public facilities for sport and exercise including indoor and outdoor 3G pitches, a BMX track, a skate park and a natural play area.

The new homes at The Heights also offer easy access to the extensive choice of shops, places to eat and entertainment venues of Coventry’s city centre.

Transport links to The Heights are excellent, with Junction 2 of the M6 less than five miles away and Coventry railway station only two miles from home for regular services to London Euston in around an hour and to Birmingham in less than 30 minutes. For those travelling further afield, Birmingham Airport is just 15 miles away.

The Heights investment event takes place on Saturday 11th January between 10am and 5pm in the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Aldermoor Lane, Coventry, CV3 1NE. The development is also open daily between 10am and 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
