Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has responded to the sell-out success of its popular Oak Springs development in Bourne by announcing the release of a fresh collection of stunning new homes.

Savvy property-seekers have snapped up every one of the beautiful houses available in this sought-after location, and to meet the continuing demand, Taylor Wimpey is set to unveil a brand new phase of properties, which will be known as Oak Springs Gardens.

Quick-off-the-mark buyers looking for a high-quality home in a great location for a superb-value price are being urged to register their interest now to put themselves in the best possible position to secure their perfect property when the first plots are released for sale this month.

Mariana Knight, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Oak Springs has been incredibly popular with a wide range of buyers, and so we’re delighted to be opening up even more fantastic opportunities for people to own a brand new home at Oak Springs Gardens.

“Anyone interested in staking their claim at Oak Springs Gardens should contact us without delay to ensure they’re among the first to take their pick from the great home designs in this brand new collection when they’re officially launched.”

Oak Springs Gardens will comprise a stunning range of properties including one-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme will be available at the development, which enables first-time buyers and those looking to move to secure a Government loan of up to 20% of the value of their new home, meaning they only require a loan-to-value mortgage of 75% and a deposit as low as 5%. Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for those taking advantage of the scheme.

Alternatively, the NewBuy initiative allows customers to secure their new home at Oak Springs Gardens with a 95% mortgage.

Located on the edge of the fens, Bourne is steeped in history with no less than 71 listed buildings occupying the parish, including Bourne Abbey and Baldock’s Mill, a former water mill which now houses the town’s heritage centre.

The town centre is within walking distance of Oak Springs Gardens and boasts a range of high street and independent shops and supermarkets, while those seeking entertainment can choose from a number of bars, restaurants and traditional pubs.

Education provision in the town is excellent with schools for children of all ages, including the well-regarded Bourne Grammar School, which ranks among the best in the East Midlands for A-level results; and Robert Manning College, a high-performing comprehensive specialising in technology and vocational education for 11 to 18-year-old students.

Oak Springs Gardens is located off The Gables, Elsea Park, Bourne and property-seekers can register an interest by visiting taylorwimpey.co.uk.
