Lovell and sister company, Muse Developments, are making home ownership an achievable aspiration for buyers in Stockton by introducing the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme at riverside development Vivo.

The new equity loan scheme has just been launched at phase two of the Northshore Road development, allowing home buyers to secure one of the brand new two, three or four-bedroom homes using just a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy allows buyers to secure their choice of home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with a 20% equity loan provided by the Government.

The recently launched phase two features all new house styles, which are now available to reserve off-plan.

Anita Onal, Sales Adviser at Vivo, comments: “Help to Buy is designed to make people’s dreams of home ownership a reality.

“The scheme is designed to help home buyers secure low deposit mortgages and stagger the cost of buying a home, as they do not pay rent on the equity loan and it’s interest free for the first five years.

“The equity loan can be repaid at any time within 25 years or when the property is sold, making saving and purchasing a new home more affordable.”

All homes at Vivo benefit from high specification finishes, including a fully fitted kitchen with integrated cooking appliances.

Anita comments: “We are inviting those who are interested in buying a home to visit Vivo, where they can find out more about how Help to Buy works and why it might be the right scheme to help them onto the property ladder.

“We recently hosted a Help to Buy weekend that proved so popular with home buyers we hope to repeat the event in 2014, but are always happy to explain how the scheme works and answer any questions visitors may have.

“Help to Buy is set to be the best scheme yet for assisting people with their dream of home ownership as it’s available to everyone, including first-time buyers and those moving up the property ladder, so it’s worth visiting us to find out how it might benefit you.”

Vivo overlooks the River Tees and lies in close proximity to the town centre and all amenities.

Homes are priced from £132,950.
