Variety of residents match variety of homes

29th January 2014 Print

The wide variety of residents who have moved into brand new homes in Whitworth reflect the wide variety of properties, says sales advisor Carol Collinge-Jones.

Healey Walk is a stunning development of 97 two, three, four and five bedroom houses set against a backdrop of rolling Lancashire hills from leading house builder Persimmon Homes.

New residents include young couples and singletons buying their first home, families growing in number, families growing up and retired people - both single and couples - looking to downsize.

Sales advisor Carol said: “Healey Walk is proving really popular with customers, and we now have 28 properties occupied, from a variety of age groups.

“Our lovely showhome is a four bedroom detached Roseberry, and the spiderman themed children’s bedroom is proving a real hit with younger visitors.”

Carol has worked in the housing development industry for more than 20 years, and joined Persimmon Lancashire last summer after a four year career break.

She said: “It’s lovely being back in the industry and I’m really enjoying it here at Healey Walk. The customers are lovely, and it’s such a buzz being able to help them find their dream home.”

Healey Walk is set in the heart of Whitworth, a former Lancashire cotton mill town in the Rossendale Valley with a selection of restaurants and country pubs. Close by is Healey Dell Nature Reserve and the River Spodden, while the nearby disused railway line and 100 foot high viaduct boast fabulous views over the Dell. The town is easily accessible from Leeds and Manchester.

Carol added: “We’ve got some lovely properties for sale here at Healey Walk and a fantastic number of special deals, including Help to Buy and a three per cent contribution towards your deposit. Why not call in to see us today and we’ll find the right deal to get you moving.”

The marketing suite is open Thursday to Monday 11am to 6pm.
