Property-seekers on the look-out for their dream home in south-west London are being urged to find out more about the new release of two and three-bedroom houses now available at Taylor Wimpey’s impressive Devonshire Place development in Balham.

This brand new collection of terraced properties is expected to be just as sought-after as the previous selection of apartments – which is now completely sold out – with all the benefits of modern city living right on the doorstep.

The contemporary homes are ideally situated for commuters just a short walk from Balham and Clapham South tube stations, while regular rail services operate to London Waterloo from the local railway station.

Sarah Pasco, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Devonshire Place has been an incredibly popular development with home-hunters and it’s not hard to see why development is so attractive – it’s at the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood with a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops, and also boasts great transport links into central London.

“The launch of our latest selection of properties offers a rare opportunity to secure a new-build house within this desirable south-west London location and we expect these wonderful new homes to be snapped up quickly by discerning purchasers.

“I would urge prospective buyers to act now so they’re among the first to choose from the plots which we’ve now released for sale.”

Among the homes now available to reserve at Devonshire Place are two-bedroom terraced houses from £750,000 and three-bedroom properties from £900,000.

The two-bedroom Plot 52 terraced house, for example, is priced at £750,000 and features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, a double guest bedroom and a family bathroom.

Alternatively, the three-bedroom Plot 49 terraced home, priced at £900,000, comprises a living/dining room, a kitchen and a guest cloakroom on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a luxurious en-suite master bedroom on the top floor.

A commuter’s dream, Devonshire Place is situated in Zone 3 on the Northern Line, and bus services into central London, Brixton, West Norwood, Streatham, Tooting and Mitcham stop just a few minutes’ walk from the development.

Balham High Road is just at the end of Old Devonshire Road and offers a variety of local shops, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s supermarkets, banks, a post office and a choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs, including The Bedford, an award-winning pub famed for its live music and comedy nights.

Meanwhile, families will appreciate the proximity of a choice of schools for children of all ages, including Alderbrook Primary School, which was rated ‘good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

Property-seekers will also benefit from plenty of green open space right on the doorstep of Devonshire Place, which is surrounded by four south London commons.

To find out more about the new release of homes now available at Devonshire Place, homebuyers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Old Devonshire Road, Balham, SW12 9RB, and open Friday to Wednesday from 11am to 6pm and 12pm to 7pm on Thursdays.
