Property-seekers in Essex are being advised to act quickly before someone else beats them to their dream home at Blenheim Park, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development in Colchester!

The final selection of properties at this popular development has now been released for sale, including a choice of beautiful two and three-bedroom designs.

Two-bedroom coach house-style apartments are priced from just £154,995 and two-bedroom starter homes from £164,995, while family-size three-bedroom houses start from just £209,995.

Michael O’Leary, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Savvy purchasers have been quick to secure their favourite plots at Blenheim Park and we’re now down to the final selection of homes at this sought-after development.

“There’s a wonderful choice of property designs available, but with interest continuing to run high, I’d urge would-be movers to act now – or risk missing out!”

The two-bedroom ‘Beech’ terraced home, priced at just £164,995, is one of the final properties available at Blenheim Park and features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway. Upstairs, the landing leads to two double bedrooms and a bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from two parking spaces.

All new homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification including energy-efficient central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme is now available at Blenheim Park, allowing first-time buyers and those with a property to sell the chance to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – which means they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available with new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for customers taking advantage of the scheme.

Blenheim Park enjoys a convenient location in Colchester, a vibrant town with a fascinating history. From the old weavers’ cottages in the charming Dutch Quarter, the historic Castle Museum and Castle Park, to art galleries and exhibitions and an eclectic selection of shops, bars and restaurants, there is something for everyone.

Commuters will appreciate good rail and road links to Chelmsford, Brentwood and London – with regular train services to London Liverpool Street in under an hour – and to Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and the Midlands. The M11 and Stansted Airport are easily accessible via the new A120.

Within easy reach of the beautiful rural Essex landscape, Colchester is also handy for the great British seaside, as the coast at wonderful West Mersea is just 10 miles away.

To stand a chance of snapping up one of the final new homes at Blenheim Park, property-seekers can visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Circular Road West, Colchester, CO2 7FJ, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
