Part exchange for a speedy move at Washington

5th February 2014 Print

Homeowners wanting to move up to a more spacious home, but who are struggling to sell their present property, could find the perfect solution at Teal Farm Village in Washington.

David Wilson Homes is offering part exchange on a selection of homes at the popular development – and anyone using the service to buy a new home during February will have their stamp duty paid.

This offer is also available at the housebuilder’s other developments around the region including Berry Edge at Consett, Elba Park near Houghton-le-Spring, Riverside Crescent at Blaydon and The Willows, in Washington.

Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at David Wilson North East, said: “Our part exchange service can make life much easier for the time-poor househunter.

“We could buy their home at an independently valued, fair market price and the move could take just one month.

“In fact we agreed a part exchange with one buyer before Christmas who reserved, legally completed and moved in, all within seven days.”

He explained: “We arrange for two valuations of the existing property and then make an offer based on these. We are effectively a cash buyer, so there is no chain to worry about, and there are no agent’s fees to pay.

“There are no uncertainties over dates or last-minute haggling, and you can stay in your present place until your new home is ready. We take care of everything.”

At Teal Farm Village, part exchange is available on range of three and four-bedroom homes, at prices starting from £199,995.

The “Holden” four-bedroom detached house offers 1,500 sq ft of living space. At its heart is a spacious kitchen, with dining and family area and French windows, and there is a separate living room and a useful study. It is priced from £320,000.

Teal Farm Village is well-located on Barmston Road, with amenities and schools on the doorstep plus easy access for commuting.
