Home-hunters who have experienced the fabulous showhome at Taylor Wimpey’s Briars Chase development in Ilkeston are invited to take part in an online vote to help it win a prestigious national award.

The ‘Hawthorn’ showhome, which offers a tantalising glimpse of the wonderful lifestyle opportunities on offer at this sought-after development, has been shortlisted in the Best Showhome category at the First-Time Buyer Magazine Readers Awards.

Mariana Knight, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are delighted that Briars Chase has been shortlisted in the Best Showhome category of the First-Time Buyer Magazine Readers Awards.

“The ‘Hawthorn’ showhome has been wowing visitors to the development since it opened and its inspirational design – achieved on a budget that won’t break the bank – is aimed at customers who are taking their first step on to the property ladder and who therefore are likely to have limited funds for extravagant finishing touches.

“Our talented team of designers have demonstrated that our apartments and houses at Briars Chase really can be beautifully furnished no matter what the purchaser’s budget.

“This fabulous home really does deserve to win and I hope all those who’ve experienced its wonderful interior will take part in the online vote before the closing date on Tuesday 11th April.”

To vote for the Briars Chase showhome in the First-Time Buyer Magazine Readers Awards, visit ftbawards.com and click ‘Online Voting 2014’, selecting Taylor Wimpey East Midlands in the ‘Best Showhome’ section.

There’s currently a selection of high-quality homes on sale at Briars Chase, including two-bedroom houses from £109,995 and three-bedroom properties from £127,995.

Situated just a few minutes’ walk from Ilkeston’s thriving town centre, the new homes at Briars Chase benefit from having a good selection of shops, pubs and a cinema on the doorstep.

The development is also close to numerous infant, junior and secondary schools with Granby Junior School, Chaucer Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Bennerley School and Ilkeston Secondary School all less than a mile away.

For commuters, the A52 gives easy access to Nottingham and Derby, while the M1 provides excellent links to the North and South. Langley Mill railway station is less than four miles away, providing regular services to Nottingham in just 20 minutes and Sheffield in 45 minutes.

The new ‘Hawthorn’ showhome is now open at Briars Chase, off Heanor Road, Ilkeston, from 10.30am to 5.30pm, seven days a week. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
