Selling a home quickly and easily may sound like a pie in the sky idea to many home owners, but with a Redrow scheme they can do just that, and save money on agents’ fees to boot.

The award-winning housebuilder’s Mastermove scheme could help homeowners sell up and move on quickly and fuss free, avoiding any lengthy chains.

To explain how the scheme works, Redrow is hosting several events across its Lancashire ventures on Sunday, February 16.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “There has been a lot of positive news about the housing market in recent months, which has encouraged people to think about selling up and moving on. If people are put off by the idea of waiting weeks, maybe months, to find a buyer, Redrow is perfectly placed to help move things along.

“At the events we’ll be explaining that whether you’re moving up the property ladder, sideways or downsizing to somewhere more manageable, with Mastermove you should be able to avoid the nightmare of a long wait to sell your home. We’ll work closely with a local agent in a bid to help you sell your property much quicker and at full market value.”

Customers who sign up for Mastermove will have their property valued and, once a selling price is agreed, Redrow instructs a local estate agents to market the property on their behalf. Crucially, the housebuilder keeps in regular contact with all parties to ensure the sales process runs quickly and smoothly and they will even pay the estate agent’s fees at the end of the day. All it takes is a small deposit, which will be refunded upon completion.

According to home.co.uk, in January 2014 the average time on the market of an unsold property in Lancashire was 272 days or 38 weeks. The average Mastermove property is sold within just five weeks.
