Aspiring homeowners can escape the landlord for good – and for less than they might think – by buying the home of their dreams at The Pinnacle, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development in Stoke-on-Trent.

The cost of renting has gone up by an average of 2.7% since last year, placing a further squeeze on the already-stretched budgets of householders who are facing hikes in energy prices and other utility bills.

The good news is that tenants can find out how they can own a fantastic brand new home of their own – and even save money in the process thanks to the Government’s Help to Buy scheme at The Pinnacle.

For example, one-bedroom ‘Leam’ apartments can be snapped up at the development with a deposit as low as £3,500 – so potential first-time buyers cannot afford to delay!

Carl Cooke, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Many people who are renting their home simply continue to do so, never entertaining the idea of home ownership because they wrongly assume that it is out of their price range.

“But they would be surprised to learn that buying could actually cost them less each month than what they are paying in rent – and they can make the move to become homeowners with a deposit of just £3,500!

“Renters who dream of escaping the landlord should come along to see us at The Pinnacle to find out more.”

The one-bedroom ‘Leam’ apartment is priced from £69,995 and features a spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining room opening through French doors to a private balcony or terrace, a bedroom and a bathroom, while there’s allocated parking outside.

Alternatively, two-bedroom ‘Leam’ apartments are available priced from £84,995.

Under Help to Buy, first-time buyers and existing homeowners can secure a Government loan for 20% of the full price of their new home – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Commanding an excellent location within easy reach of the Peak District, The Pinnacle boasts stunning views and is ideal for those who love the great outdoors.

There’s a choice of shops selling everyday items within walking distance, while seven primary schools lie within one mile of the homes, as well as two secondary schools. Highly-regarded Keele University is less than 10 miles away, while Alton Towers, Festival Park and Trentham Gardens are nearby.

The development is a 10-minute drive from the M6, putting Manchester, the Midlands and North Wales all within easy reach.

Aspiring homeowners can find out more about escaping the landlord by visiting the Sales Centre at The Pinnacle, located off Blithfield Way, Norton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 8GS, and open Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
