Buyers are being urged to hurry if they want to live on a new housing development in Loughborough as more than a third of the homes have sold since the start of the year.

People are so impressed with the design of the properties being built by Charles Church North Midlands that they are buying their dream home off plan without even setting foot in the house.

The regional builder is creating 50 homes at Charnwood Green, in Bramcote Road, and has been delighted by the response from buyers.

Sherrie Hankin, head of sales for Charles Church North Midlands, said: “We are urging buyers to hurry or miss out as Charnwood Green is proving incredibly popular.

“People are rushing to snap up a home there without even setting foot in it; which says something for the design of the development and the homes. We have also just launched our new showhome, which will help potential buyers get a feel of what it would be like to live there.

“With more than a third sold already since the start of the year, our first occupiers are due to move in in April and all the signs are there that the development will quickly turn into a lovely new community.”

Charnwood Green offers a stunning range of three and four-bedroom homes which are perfect for a wide range of buyers, from young professionals to growing families and downsizers looking to relocate.

Sherrie added: “Anyone living at Charnwood Green will have excellent facilities nearby. Loughborough Town Hall is the venue for a wide range of events, including concerts, exhibitions and a Christmas pantomime and there are four museums around the town, as well as a library and the university.

“The centre of Loughborough’s shopping area is pedestrianised while the Rushes Shopping Centre offers undercover shopping with popular high street stores.

“The area offers the best of both worlds with great commuter links while being close to the Beacon Hill Country Park, one of the highest points in Leicestershire which boasts spectacular views of Charnwood Forest and the Soar Valley. It’s a great place for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

“For commuters, Loughborough is directly linked by train to London St Pancras, with services running twice hourly. It also gives direct links to Bedford and Luton to the south, and Lincoln, Sheffield and Leeds to the north. Just to the west of Loughborough is junction 23 of the M1 motorway, giving fast access to the north and south by car.

“This development has a lot to offer and it is not hard to see why it is proving so popular.”
