Househunters urged to step out at exclusive development

4th March 2014 Print

Househunters are being encouraged to don their wellies and step out to visit an exclusive development in Durham where only 22 homes will be built.

Charles Church Teesside has sold three properties already at Potters Wynd where only spacious five-bedroom detached homes are being built, with a starting price of £735,000.

Now the infrastructure has started to go in at the site, house buyers can walk around the development and get a real feel for what it would be like to live there.

Christine Cooper, sales and marketing director for Charles Church Teesside, said: “It really will be an outstanding site. We are keen for people to see for themselves this stunning location and the layout of the generous plots as the development starts to take shape.

“We have sold three very quickly and would urge buyers to visit the site as soon as they can so they can cherry pick the best plots. We believe it will sell quickly once people discover for themselves its real charm.”

Design features in the stunning homes include a 35ft by 11ft kitchen/breakfast room/family room as well as luxurious master bedrooms with en suite and a fifth bedroom that can double as a study.

Durham is a city steeped in history and has been the home of Durham University since 1832. Its steep riverbanks are densely wooded, adding to the beauty of the city while it offers great facilities, including the Prince Bishops Shopping Centre with leading retailers along with a range of unique boutiques.

It also has great commuter links being perfectly located for both the East Coast railway line and the A1(M) motorway.

Christine added: “This development has so much going for it we believe it will be very popular. Buyers with a home to sell can also take advantage of our instant Part Exchange scheme.

“If you are eligible for part exchange, we arrange at least two valuations, agree a market price and buy your existing property. We aim to take the stress out of moving as there are no hidden marketing costs and no chains to break and people are welcome to ask for more details.”
