Morris Homes is already preparing to welcome residents to its new Whitegate Place development in Winsford, after the first home was snapped up during the site’s opening weekend.

A mix of three and four-bedroom properties are now on sale at the development, where there will be 58 homes upon completion. The site offers buyers a peaceful location in the heart of Cheshire and is within easy reach of Winsford town centre.

During the 23 month construction project, Morris is employing 40 sub-contractors and the build is due to complete in August 2015.

Morris is also incorporating open space and play areas into the £8.6million scheme, as well as investing in improvements to local footpaths and highways.

Chris Minshall, regional sales director at Morris, said: “Whitegate Place offers buyers in Winsford a great opportunity to live in a quality new home in a superb location. The site has great access to local amenities for first-time buyers and families, so it is no surprise that we have sold the first home so quickly.

“There is a wide range of support available for those wishing to purchase a home at the development, including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which means that only 5% of the value of the home is needed as a deposit to get onto or move up the property ladder in Winsford.”

The first selection of homes available at Whitegate Place are priced starting from £169,750 or £135,800 with Help to Buy.

For more information on the properties available at Whitegate Place, visit the sales office at Littler Lane, Winsford, CW7 2NF, open Thursday to Monday 10.30am-5.30pm, or visit morrishomes.co.uk.
