Miller Homes Midlands is reporting a sales surge at one of its Derbyshire developments, reflecting the growing confidence in the county’s housing market.

Properties at Keepers Grange, which forms part of Newton Village in Stenson Fields, have been selling at an impressive rate since the sales centre opened its doors last summer. Demand has been so high that all of the initial homes released for sale have now sold, with buyers already registering their interest in the second stage of releases.

“We knew that this development would perform well,” commented Paul Walters, associate director at Miller Homes Midlands, “but the rate of sales has exceeded our initial expectations.

“There is high demand in the county at the moment for quality properties that offer true value for money. We’ve been able to provide that, and the location of Keepers Grange, combining a beautiful rural setting with great transport links and local facilities, has added to that too.

“The market has certainly been strengthened by the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which has really opened up people’s minds as to what they can actually get for their money.”

Amongst the next stage of properties to be released for sale at Keepers Grange over the coming months is the three-bedroom detached Adams style home. With a spacious kitchen and dining area and French doors leading into the garden, the property also features a master bedroom with en-suite and built-in wardrobe.

Also about to join the portfolio of properties at Keepers Grange is the four-bedroom Aldrich, which benefits from a large family / living area and kitchen, as well as an attractive dual-aspect fourth bedroom that could be used as a home office.

“We haven’t even announced the prices yet, but already interest levels in these new properties are incredibly high,” concluded Paul.

“It looks like the popularity of our new homes at Keepers Grange is set to continue.”

Miller Homes has a number of developments in and around Derbyshire, including The Portlands in Chesterfield and Weavers Court at Castle Donington. The Pride Park-based housebuilder has also announced plans for two new Derbyshire developments in 2014. Plans include 73 new three, four and five-bedroom homes across 55 acres in Radbourne Lane, Mickleover, and a further 37 properties on four-acres of land in Ashbourne.
