For hard-driving enthusiasts looking to really get the best out of their GT-R, experienced tuner Litchfield has created a range of exquisitely engineered chassis products which allow the car to perform well in excess of its factory design parameters. Using the very latest aerospace materials and motorsport experience, these products offer the discerning owner or tuner the ability to create a much more stable platform for tuning, with precise geometry, much higher levels of adjustment and greater strength than the mass produced factory parts could ever hope to offer.

These products have been thoroughly tested on road and track throughout 2013 including feedback and abuse by some of the world’s best drivers. Litchfield’s test team, headed up by current WTCC champion Rob Huff, isn’t your average set of Joes, either!! Following this extensive bout of testing the parts have been fully inspected and X-rayed to insure maximum durability.

Throughout development process Litchfield’s primary goal was to improve steering feel and consistency of feedback. The more information that can be communicated to the driver, the greater the level of confidence in the cars handling – and greater on-track precision and overall performance can be enjoyed from the chassis.

From fast road applications to fully track-focussed cars, these exciting new products allow the driver to upgrade in stages that suit their use.

Front Toe Links

These beautiful parts are CNC machined and laser engraved from T6 aerospace grade aluminium. The body itself features a EN24T high tensile steel adjustment turnbuckle, mounting pin, and adjustment spacer combined with ultra-high performance Kevlar-Teflon rose joints.

By replacing the OEM track rod ends with the turnbuckle design, fast, precise and extensive toe adjustment can be effected far more quickly and accurately. The Ultra High Performance Rose Joints eliminate the flex normally associated with OEM components resulting in increased steering feel and faster, more consistent response. The EN 24T hub pin and spacers allow for roll centre adjustment to eliminate bump steer resulting from the lower, track based ride heights associated with modified cars.

The Litchfield front toe links offer the perfect introduction to improved steering feel and precision handling.

Top Arms

The body of each arm is crafted, via CNC-machine, from T6 tempered aerospace grade aluminium. The rose joints are straight from proven competition and feature a Kevlar-Teflon lined self-lubricating action, working in conjunction with 7075 series CNC machined top hat bushes and an ultra-high articulation upper joint.

This cutting-edge design eliminates the inherent flex associated with the OEM bushes to provide significantly more precise and consistent handling characteristics. Using Kevlar over the traditional copper design insures greater durability. It also allows for extensive geometry adjustment that stays within tight tolerances.

These are ideal for drivers looking to enhance their car’s performance on track and work in conjunction with the Toe Links.

Tubular Front Lower Arms

Each one is hand-fabricated from a heady combination of CDS & T45 steel with laser-cut panels. Each one is completely TIG welded by hand to ensure absolute quality control. Again, like the upper arms, this component benefits from Litchfield’s ultra-high performance Kevlar-Teflon lined self-lubricating rose joints combined with 7075 CNC machined top hat bushes to further enhance high articulation.

The hub pin is engineered from EN24T High Tensile Alloy Steel and has been conditioned to withstand loads up to 850/1000 N/mm2. This is seriously over-engineered! The precision is augmented further by the CNC-machined T6 rear mounting block and spherical joint, which replaces the flexible OEM bush mounting and allow for extensive caster adjustment.

These products have been designed for drivers seeking the absolute pinnacle of no compromise on-track performance and allow massive geometry adjustment to cater for even the most aggressive of track set-ups. If a car requires dedicated track day tyres or slicks, these arms will provide the increased strength and flex resistance necessary to cope with the increased G-Loading resulting from such component choice and usage.
