A development in Mansfield Woodhouse has proved so popular with home buyers that Rippon Homes has released the last phase early.

The local house builder has just released the final phase of homes at Portland Place, on Portland Street, due to high demand from home buyers.

With half of the 31 homes now reserved, those interested in making the move to Portland Place are encouraged to visit the development to find out more about the available three and four-bedroom homes and how to purchase using the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

Michelle Ellis, Sales Adviser at Portland Place, comments: “We’ve had a fantastic response from home buyers and are delighted with how popular the development has been.

“One of the reasons Portland Place has proved so popular is because we’re offering a rare opportunity to own a newly built home within Mansfield Woodhouse’s attractive Conservation Area, which also sits within easy reach of local amenities.

“These high quality homes have been carefully designed to reflect the traditional style of the development’s surrounding buildings, while the fully fitted kitchen, stylish bathroom and UPVC double glazing ensures they are thoroughly modern inside.

“Two plots within the final phase have already been reserved by early bird buyers, who were keen to secure their first choice of plot and house style, and have the opportunity to add their own finishing touches to their home by purchasing off-plan.”

Those looking for an affordable route into home ownership are encouraged to find out more about Help to Buy and get jargon-busting advice by visiting Michelle at Portland Place.
Using the scheme, buyers can secure their home using a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with a 20% equity loan provided by the Government.

Michelle adds: “Help to Buy offers buyers assistance with purchasing their home and is designed to make mortgage repayments more affordable, while also making it easier to buy with only a 5% deposit required.

“We’ve been building houses for over 60 years and this is the best initiative we have seen for those who need a little help getting onto the property ladder, as well as those who want to purchase a larger home.”

Homes are priced from £131,950.

Find out more about Portland Place by visiting Michelle at the show home, open from 10.30am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday. Alternatively, go to ripponhomes.co.uk.
