With 19 off plan sales already secured, the opening of two show properties could lead to further sales success for Retirement Villages Group Ltd’s newest development, Charters Village.

Until recently, visitors to the village had to rely on floor plans, a scale model and a flythrough DVD to get a feel for the properties on offer at the 16 acre site on Felcourt Road, East Grinstead.

Now, much anticipated viewings are being taken for the two bedroom apartment and chalet bungalow by dedicated sales consultants between 10:30am and 5pm, seven days a week.

“Both properties have been decorated and furnished to the highest standard, and look fantastic as a result,” said Gill Davies, sales consultant. “The demand for viewings is high, which is reflected in our newly extended opening hours,” she added.

In total, six chalet bungalows and Fonteyn House, a building with 22 apartments, were built as part of phase one. Five apartments were also built within the central clubhouse, a century old building that has been fully restored as part of this first stage. It is estimated that in excess of £25 million pounds will be spent on the entire redevelopment process.

The first residents have now moved in, with more expected to be happily settled by Friday 14th March, when an exclusive event will mark the official opening of the village.

The remaining properties for sale are ready for occupation and are priced from £285,000 to £595,000 leasehold. For more information, visit retirementvillages.co.uk.
