Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is investing over £330,000 in the local community as part of its new homes development in Meriden, West Midlands.

Mulberry Gardens is a stylish selection of just 40 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, all constructed to achieve Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, in a peaceful yet convenient location close to all the amenities of this attractive village.

The development includes 16 affordable homes for rent and low-cost housing, giving local residents and key workers the opportunity to enjoy life in a brand new property within their own community.

Taylor Wimpey’s investment also includes financial contributions totalling over £330,000, with £305,470 being provided towards provision of recreation, play areas and open space in the local area and £25,000 towards highways and transport improvements.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This investment in the local community reflects our belief that building a new homes development is about more than just providing high-quality properties for people to live in – it is about giving homebuyers the chance to be part of a thriving community.

“Our contributions totalling over £330,000 will benefit local people – young and old – as well as the new residents at Mulberry Gardens in ways which will be felt for years to come. This is part of Taylor Wimpey’s commitment to the future of the communities we build.”

There’s a superb selection of new homes currently available at Mulberry Gardens, including three-bedroom homes from £259,995, four-bedroom properties from £379,995 and five-bedroom designs from £444,995. A further selection of two, three and five-bedroom homes is coming soon.
