Wheelwright, wheel importer and distributor, has released details of a new, deep-dished, track & drift-ready addition to their 2014 collection: the Calibre 7Twenty.

The Calibre design team always demonstrate their ‘on trend’ nous when it comes to new design releases, and their 2014 programme is no exception to this rule with the brand new 7Twenty pandering to the dramatic growth of the Drift scene. Retaining an air of traditional Jap-spec design hailing back to the Tsuchiya era, the precision engineered 7Twenty (‘720’) boasts 7 split spokes vanishing into an aggressive, deep dish, all finished in a traditional matte bronze colour-way, which accentuates the destiny of this design: flying sideways adorning Jap and Euro drift machines.

The 7Twenty has been painstakingly developed in association with BDC (British Drift Championship) SuperPro Champion Michael Marshall from Team MNM and uses the latest in alloy wheel manufacturing technology. Its ‘monobloc’ casting ensures strength & lightness. Despite its lightness, this JWL accredited design is robust and offers an affordable improvement, set to be fitted to a wide range of track and road vehicles including Team MNM’s own collection of tarmac-thrashed drifters.

Staggered 8.5 x 18”, 9.5 x 18”; and 10.5 x 18” sizes are available in popular 5x114.3 and 5x120 stud patterns with an excellent array of offsets(ET 12, 22 & 38), making them ideal for a wide range of configurations both on and off the track.

Prices are set to start from just £150 per wheel for this new track-ready Calibre design.
