Discerning home-hunters in Somerset have been making a beeline for The Meadows, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development in Keynsham, near Bristol.

This stunning collection of two, three, four, five and six-bedroom properties is proving exceptionally popular with canny purchasers, and 14 homes have been snapped up at the development in just the last seven weeks.

With interest showing no sign of slowing at The Meadows, hopeful buyers are advised to get in quick – or risk missing out on their dream home.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are delighted, but not surprised, by the high levels of demand we’re experiencing for our beautiful new homes at The Meadows.

“The convenient yet peaceful location, high-quality properties and great-value prices on offer at this wonderful development are attracting purchasers in a range of circumstances, and I’d advise would-be buyers to hurry to avoid disappointment.”

There’s a superb selection of homes currently available at The Meadows, including three-bedroom houses from just £255,000, four-bedroom detached properties from £330,000 and five-bedroom designs from £430,000.

The three-bedroom ‘Chichester’, for example, is priced at £255,000 and is the final plot of this design available to reserve in 2014.

This impressive property features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from a car port and a parking space.

Thanks to the Government’s Help to Buy equity loan scheme, moving on or up the property ladder at The Meadows is easier and more affordable than prospective purchasers might think.

Help to Buy enables first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure a Government loan of 20% of the full price of their new home – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

The scheme is available on every property at The Meadows as it has a limit at £600,000, and there’s no salary cap for Help to Buy customers.

The Meadows enjoys a convenient location on the southern edge of Keynsham, surrounded by open fields and the Somerset countryside, yet with all of the shops and facilities of the town centre within easy reach.

The town boasts a choice of schools for children of all ages, including the well-regarded Castle Primary School, which lies just a stone’s throw from The Meadows, and was rated ‘good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

There’s also a leisure centre within walking distance of the new homes with a swimming pool and fitness and health suites, while a new Waitrose supermarket is now open in the local area.

Commuters will appreciate that Keynsham has its own railway station with direct services to Bristol, Southampton and London Waterloo.

Bristol city centre lies only six miles from home while the development is conveniently located for access to the A4, the M32 and the M4.

To join those who’ve already found their perfect property at The Meadows, house-hunters can visit the Sales and Information Centre, located off Park Road, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 1AX, and open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
