House hunters looking for a new pad in Bristol are being invited to check out the city’s hottest place to live at an open day being arranged by the developer.

Taking place on Saturday 10 May at Crest Nicholson’s Harbourside, it will enable those wanting to find out more about the award-winning development the chance to see why it has proved so popular.

Once there they will have the chance to look around three show apartments which not only showcases the high-end spec of the properties on offer, but the views which take in the historic floating harbour, Brunel’s ss Great Britain and countryside which stretches out towards Ashton Court.

Located in the Invicta phase, the latest show apartment is a three-bedroom property located on the first floor and forms part of the ‘prow’ of Invicta.

And with properties at the development fast running out, those who are considering buying are being advised to act sooner rather than later as these city-centre pads are not expected to be on the market for too much longer.

The secure parking and proximity to the city-centre has really captured the imagination of those wanting to make the most of what the capital of the West Country has to offer and anyone who does place a reservation will be able to take advantage of a £10,000 interior design package with renowned Bristol-based Andrew Henry Interiors.

Susan Young, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson said: “As we near the end of the development, those who haven’t visited Harbourside recently will be amazed at how much it has changed. It has really opened up the water side.

“The three new show apartments have been designed to highlight some of the latest interior design trends. With fantastic views of Bristol, the water and surrounding area they clearly demonstrates what separates Harbourside from all other developments in the city.

“The availability of parking has also proved very popular and is ideal for those who perhaps have to travel for work or need access to a car.”

“Those who are lucky enough to secure one of the remaining apartments will then be able to enjoy all the trappings of living in one of Bristol’s most sought after locations and live in a part of the city that has historical significance.

“The regeneration of the docks and area formerly known as Canon’s Marsh – one of the biggest inner-city regeneration projects in the UK – has re-defined what people think of as the heart of Bristol, shifting the emphasis west from the old city-centre and opening up an entire new quarter.

“The area had been abandoned and left semi derelict since the last war, criss-crossed with old railtracks, scarred by derelict gas works and mainly used as a coach and car park.

“We are immensely proud of what has been achieved providing a place where people can now live, work, rest and play.”

Located on Canons Way just off Anchor Road, Invicta is spread over five floors. The open day is taking place on 10 May from 10am to 5pm.

The Governement’s Help to Buy scheme is also available at the development.
