Property-seekers have been quick to reserve their pick of the plots available at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Wichelstowe development in Swindon, Wiltshire.

The leading housebuilder’s selection of new-build homes has been proving popular with discerning purchasers searching for their ideal place at this well-connected new community on the southern fringes of the town.

In fact, seven of the 19 properties available in the current phase have already been snapped up – so anyone interested in securing one of these homes for themselves cannot afford to delay!

Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The new homes at Wichelstowe are proving hugely popular with property-seekers attracted by the stylish designs, exceptional build quality and the development’s convenient location with excellent transport links.

“With demand running so high, we would encourage anyone hoping to secure their place at the development to contact us without delay – or risk missing out.”

There’s a choice of homes available to buy now at Wichelstowe, including two-bedroom properties priced from only £188,000, three-bedroom houses from just £223,000 and four-bedroom properties from as little as £275,000.

The three-bedroom ‘Teal’ terraced house, for example, is priced £229,000 and boasts a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two bedrooms and a main bathroom, while an en-suite master bedroom with dressing area enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor. There’s also a garage and driveway parking outside.

To make securing their perfect property even easier, the Help to Buy equity loan scheme enables eligible first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure a Government loan for 20% of its full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Close to Swindon’s town centre – with its array of shopping, leisure and entertainment opportunities – the railway station and the M4 motorway, the new community of Wichelstowe offers something for everybody, from first-time buyers to growing families and from commuters to the newly retired.

This sustainable new neighbourhood will eventually comprise 4,500 homes plus schools, community facilities, shops, open spaces, footpaths and cycleways and even a 4.5km extension to the Wiltshire and Berkshire Canal.

To join the satisfied homeowners at Wichelstowe, house-hunters can visit the Sales Information Centre, located in Trecastle Road, off Croft Road, Swindon, SN1 4RW, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays 1pm to 5pm). Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
