Discerning house-hunters in Lincolnshire will soon be able to take their pick from a fresh collection of stunning new homes at Taylor Wimpey’s popular Oak Springs development in Bourne.

Oak Spring Gardens is the second phase at Oak Springs and comprises an impressive selection of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom designs being released for sale on Saturday 17th March.

Quick-off-the-mark purchasers can take advantage of a fantastic deal, as Taylor Wimpey is offering £1,000 and free flooring for the first five reservations from this new collection.

Home-hunters were quick to snap up all the properties in the first phase at this exciting new community close to the centre of Bourne, so anyone keen to secure one of these new homes is advised to get in early to secure their favourite plot.

Mariana Knight, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Oak Springs is proving to be one of our most popular developments in the region, with the first phase a complete sell-out.

“As we prepare to launch a fresh selection of homes at Oak Spring Gardens on Saturday 17th March, I would encourage anyone who is interested in reserving their ideal place to come along to the official opening – or they could find somebody else has beaten them to it!”

Among the first release of homes in the new phase at Oak Spring Gardens is the two-bedroom ‘Edale’ coach house-style apartment, priced at £124,995, the three-bedroom three-storey ‘Crofton’, priced from £162,995, the four-bedroom ‘Shelford’ at £249,995, and the five-bedroom ‘Wilton’, from £274,995.

The ‘Wilton’, for example, features a large kitchen/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a lounge, a study and a guest cloakroom/utility room off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom with dressing area, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while two additional double bedrooms and a shower room occupy the top floor. Outside, the property benefits from a garage and driveway parking.

The Help to Buy equity loan scheme enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan of up to 20% of the value of their new home at Oak Spring Gardens, so they only require a loan-to-value mortgage of 75% and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for those taking advantage of the scheme.

Located on the edge of the fens, Bourne is steeped in history with no less than 71 listed buildings occupying the parish, including Bourne Abbey and Baldock’s Mill, a former water mill which now houses the town’s heritage centre.

The town centre is within walking distance of Oak Spring Gardens and boasts a range of high street and independent shops and supermarkets, while those seeking entertainment can choose from a number of bars, restaurants and traditional pubs.

Education provision in the town is excellent with schools for children of all ages, including the well-regarded Bourne Grammar School, which ranks among the best in the East Midlands for A-level results; and Robert Manning College, a high-performing comprehensive specialising in technology and vocational education for 11 to 18-year-old students.

To find out more about the new homes at Oak Spring Gardens, property-seekers should attend the launch event on Saturday 17th May from 10.30am to 5.30pm.

The Sales Centre is located off Raymond Mays Way/A151, Bourne, PE10 0FS, and is open daily between the same times. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
