Sizzling choice of new homes in Kent

24th May 2014 Print

With both the weather and the property market hotting up Redrow is hosting barbecues across Kent to give buyers a taste of what life could be like in a brand new home.

Events are being held at Davington Park in Faversham; Orchard Mews, Larkfield; Ratio, Slade Green and St Andrews Park in Halling on Saturday (May 31). From noon to 4pm visitors will be able to enjoy a burger or a banger, view the show homes and meet those who have already bought a brand new Redrow home.

Kerry Jenkins, sales director for Redrow (South East), says: “As temperatures are rising so too is confidence in the housing market and so what better way to ignite buyers interest than by inviting them to a barbecue. Between the various developments we have a sizzling choice of homes available ranging from apartments to substantial four-bedroom family homes. At Ratio we will be launching a new block of apartments; while at St Andrews Park we will be releasing homes from the new phase known as The Hamlets.

“Those who join us for the barbecues will be able to ‘grill’ our friendly, experienced sales consultants about the homes available and find out more about incentives such as Help to Buy equity loans. It will also be an opportunity to meet people who have already moved into Davington Park, Orchard Mews, Ratio or St Andrews Park to find out first-hand what it’s like to live in a brand new Redrow home. Those who reserve a new home during the event could even be hosting their own barbecue before the end of summer and inviting their new neighbours along.”

Whichever location or style of home is chosen, customers can rest assured it will boast Redrow’s high specification as standard. Kitchens will be well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances; while bathrooms and en-suites will enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.

Help to Buy equity loans are available and could make buying a brand new Redrow home easier to afford. Typically a customer buying in this way should only need a relatively small deposit of around 5% of the property’s value, plus a mortgage for 75% from their chosen lender. The remaining 20% share is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

To enjoy a taste of live in a brand new Redrow home, visit Davington Park, Orchard Mews, Ratio or St Andrews Park from noon to 4pm on Saturday (May 31).
