Discerning home-hunters searching for their perfect property in Wiltshire will need to act fast if they’re to join the first new residents at Highbury Gardens, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development in Salisbury.

The first early-bird purchasers are now beginning to move into their dream homes at this wonderful development and, with interest showing no sign of slowing, potential buyers are advised to get in quick, or risk missing out!

By acting now, they can take their pick from a superb selection of two and three-bedroom properties at Highbury Gardens, with something to suit customers in a wide range of circumstances.

Fiona Creed, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to see the first residents of Highbury Gardens moving into their new homes and, judging by the level of interest we’re experiencing at this development, they won’t be alone for long!

“Anyone who is interested in making Highbury Gardens their home cannot afford to delay – because these stunning properties in this wonderful location are selling fast.”

Among the homes currently available at Highbury Gardens are the two-bedroom ‘Wilton’ coach house-style apartment, priced at £205,000, and a choice of three-bedroom designs priced from £275,000.

The three-bedroom ‘Alderbury’, for example, is priced from £275,000 and features a large living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from either a carport and additional parking space, or two parking spaces.

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme is available at the development, enabling first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan of up to 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Situated on the site of the former Highbury and Fisherton Manor Schools, Highbury Gardens enjoys an ideal location within easy reach of Salisbury’s bustling city centre, where centuries of English heritage are matched by superb modern amenities.

In the heart of the city, an ancient twice-weekly market sits alongside a wide range of national and independent shops, while traditional pubs, well-respected restaurants and varied entertainment venues provide plenty of opportunities for leisure time.

Parents will appreciate the selection of good schools for children of all ages within easy reach of the development, including Wiltshire’s only two selective grammar schools – South Wilts Grammar School for Girls and Bishop Wordsworth’s School for boys – for those passing the eleven-plus examination.

Transport links are also excellent, with Salisbury railway station located less than a mile from home for direct services to London Waterloo, Southampton and Bristol, and the A36 and A338 both nearby for the M27, the M3 and the south coast.
