Red Hot World Buffet in Nottingham has served enough pizzas to stack up twice as high as Nottingham Council House, enough ice cream to fill seven bathtubs and chicken curry that weighed the same as an elephant, and all in the last four months.

The 500-seater restaurant in The Cornerhouse is the largest of its kind in the East Midlands, offering cuisine from 24 countries around the world. Since the start of the year, the city centre venue has served over 12,000 pizzas, 43,000 pancakes and 1,350 litres of ice cream.

“It’s been an incredible start to the year,” commented Kieron Bailey, manager of Red Hot World Buffet Nottingham.

“We have welcomed thousands of customers through our doors in the last four months to sample our high quality food, with everything on offer from salads to sushi, roast beef to cheese burgers and stir-fry to desserts.

“We have been a real hit with families. February half term stood out as an exceptionally busy week, with 8,409 covers served in those seven days alone.

“Our all you can choose offering has also proven popular with young people studying in Nottingham, with 2,657 students dining in the first term.”

The team at Red Hot World Buffet has become known for its ‘big cooking’ expertise, having celebrated the last few months by creating the UK’s largest Christmas cake and tallest pancake stack.

Paul Miller, group executive chef at Red Hot World Buffet added:

“With such a wide selection of food on offer, we have a great team of chefs that all specialise in their own area of cooking. Our most popular dishes have been the Korma curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, with the kitchen serving over 7,000kg since the start of the year.”

Red Hot World Buffet offers cuisine from across the globe including Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian and Thai, with prices starting at £8.99 for the all you can choose buffet.
