Discerning purchasers will be able to take the first pick of the stunning homes on offer when Taylor Wimpey launches its brand new Mariners Place development in Lower Upnor, Kent.

Enjoying a tranquil location close to the banks of the River Medway, this impressive selection of just 17 two/three and four-bedroom homes is an ideal choice for house-hunters keen to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Property-seekers will be able to find out more about this exciting collection of properties when the development is officially opened on Saturday 14th June.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no surprise that we’re already experiencing a great deal of interest in the new homes at Mariners Place, given the development’s peaceful location with easy access to a host of amenities.

“Anyone hoping to choose one of our stunning new properties is therefore advised to visit the development without delay when it opens on Saturday 14th June to put themselves near the front of the queue for their pick of the plots.”

All homes at Mariners Place will be completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make moving easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey will offer a range of helpful homebuyer incentives including the easymover scheme. Under this stress-free scheme, purchasers can take their pick from a choice of homes at Mariners Place and then let Taylor Wimpey help find a buyer for their current property in just a few weeks.

Situated on the banks of the River Medway, the twin villages of Lower Upnor and Upper Upnor lie just two miles from the centre of bustling Rochester, with its array of shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities.

As well as two village pubs, Upnor also boasts its very own historic tourist attraction in the shape of Upnor Castle – an Elizabethan river fortress only a few minutes’ walk from the development – while Upnor Sailing Club is just across the road.

There’s a selection of good nurseries, primary schools and secondary schools also within easy reach, including Wainscott Primary School, which was rated ‘good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

For commuters, the M2 and the A228 are both close at hand and provide good access to London, while Strood railway station is just over two miles from Mariners Place and runs regular services to Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge – all of which can be reached in less than an hour.

Property-seekers can find out more about the new homes on offer at Mariners Place when the development opens on Saturday 14th June by visiting the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Upnor Road, Lower Upnor, Kent, ME2 4GP, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am until 5pm.
