Linden Homes Midlands is celebrating early sales success at its new development in Huntingdon – following a weekend launch and a number of ‘off plan’ reservations.

A total of nine new homes at the Saxon Gardens development in the town’s California Road have been bought off plan by savvy customers who recognise the many advantages of selecting their preferred plot early.

The development will comprise 180 new homes, with a stunning selection of two, three and four-bedroom properties just a mile from Huntingdon town centre, yet within touching distance of the Cambridgeshire countryside.

And visitors were able to find out for themselves just what the development has to offer, as well as being wowed by the two stunning show homes.

The Barnstone is a three-bedroom detached home, ideal for first time buyers, young professionals or young families.

Meanwhile, for those looking for something slightly larger, the fantastic Polebrook show home is an attractive four-bedroom family home with spacious lounge, kitchen/dining room on the ground floor and four generous bedrooms, one with en-suite and family bathroom on the first floor.

Prices range from £179,950 to £260,950.

Buying off plan presents many benefits; contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, energy efficiency fittings and a 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection are among the many advantages, as well as:

Selecting a plot with a sought-after south facing garden
Choosing preferred taste in bathroom wall tiles
Choosing preferred kitchen units and worktops
Having a blank canvas from which to plan your new home
Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts

Saxon Gardens is located adjacent to Huntingdonshire Regional College, whose students came up with the site name and branding.

The Year 2 students followed a brief from the Linden Homes, and a group of creative youngsters used the hands-on task to gain valuable experience as part of their studies.
