Demand expected to by high for new homes

19th June 2014 Print

A leading house builder is expecting high levels of demand from Northamptonshire house hunters, when its latest development of family homes is launched early next month.

Persimmon Homes Midlands is building a range of two, three and four bedroom homes at its conveniently-placed new development Rushymead, in the lovely town of Rushden.

Meaning Rushy Valley, Rushden stretches out into the sloping surrounds - the prominent spire of St Mary's Church visible above its rooftops.

Richard Oldroyd, managing director of Persimmon Midlands, said: “Rushymead is an exciting new development and we have already had a lot of interest from potential customers.

“Rushden town centre is less than a 10 minute drive and offers a vibrant hub that has plenty of independent shops and a good selection of tea rooms, restaurants and pubs for all to enjoy.

“The wide range of property styles along with a number of special offers and buying incentives ensure that this development offers the perfect home for everyone at the right price and we expect demand to be extremely high.”

Help to Buy and part exchange are just two of the schemes available to help get customers moving to this well placed commuter town. The town has convenient access to the M1 motorway, which is only 20 minutes away, and other major roads include the A6 north to Irthlingborough and south to Bedford.

For outdoor lovers, Rushymead is close to Stanwick Lakes, a 750-acre visitor attraction and there is also a good network of foot and cycle paths. Rushden is ideal for families as the town has eight primary schools and secondary school, with activities and leisure to suit all ages.

The development will officially launch in July and prospective buyers are invited to register their interest. Simply complete the ‘keep me updated’ form on the Persimmon Homes website – persimmonhomes.com – to make sure you are first to receive details.
