Discerning purchasers have been quick to reserve their pick of the first plots on offer at Taylor Wimpey’s newly-launched Oak Spring Gardens development in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

This superb new collection of properties, which includes one-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, enjoys a fantastic location on the south-western fringes of the historic market town.

With new homes being snapped up fast, including eight reserved in just two weeks, the leading housebuilder is encouraging would-be buyers to act now – or they could miss out on their preferred plot at this exciting new community!

Mariana Knight, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no wonder home-hunters have been quick to snap up their choice of the superb new homes on offer at Oak Spring Gardens, which is close to all the amenities and attractions of Bourne town centre.

“But these properties are already selling fast, so anyone who’s interested in securing their ideal place at the development cannot afford to delay!”

There is currently a choice of four and five-bedroom homes on sale now at Oak Spring Gardens priced from £249,995 and £274,995 respectively.

The four-bedroom ‘Thornford’ detached house, for example, priced £264,995, boasts a spacious living room and an open-plan kitchen/dining room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a study and a guest cloakroom/utility room completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside there’s also a garage and driveway parking.

There is a range of homebuyer incentives available at Oak Spring Gardens, including the Help to Buy equity loan scheme, which enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a home to sell to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Located on the edge of the fens, Bourne is steeped in history with no fewer than 71 listed buildings occupying the parish, including Bourne Abbey and Baldock’s Mill, a former water mill which now houses the town’s heritage centre.

The town centre is within walking distance of Oak Spring Gardens and boasts a range of high street and independent shops and supermarkets, while those seeking entertainment can choose from a number of bars, restaurants and traditional pubs.

Education provision in the town is excellent with schools for children of all ages, including the well-regarded Bourne Grammar School, which ranks among the best in the East Midlands for A-level results; and Robert Manning College, a high-performing comprehensive specialising in technology and vocational education for 11 to 18-year-old students.

To join the fast-acting homebuyers at Oak Spring Gardens, property-seekers can visit the Sales Centre, located in The Gables, Elsea Park, Bourne, PE10 0FY, and open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
