Buyers are warming up to the idea of owning a brand new home in Halling where Redrow has sold four homes in just one week.

The award-winning housebuilder has clocked up an impressive sales rate at its hugely popular St Andrews Park development on Formby Road.

Following sales success and to meet growing demand, Redrow has released a second phase of new homes at the sought-after development.

Kerry Jenkins, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), says: “The launch of St Andrews Park last September came at a time when market conditions were beginning to improve and as consumer confidence has improved we’ve had a surge in both enquiries and sales. The homes are so popular that we’ve sold twice as many as we had anticipated and in just one week we secured four reservations. The success we have had in Halling is a further indicator of a buoyant market. Because so many people are keen to move here we’ve launched a second phase of homes, known as The Hamlets, giving buyers even more to choose from.”

Current availability St Andrews Park includes three and four-bedroom homes in a choice of styles.

Prices start from £309,995 for a three-bedroom detached Warwick.

The new homes enjoy a fantastic location set against the backdrop of chalk cliffs, looking down to the River Medway and across the Medway valley.

The development is transforming the site of the former Cemex factory beyond recognition, providing new homes next to the blue lake, an old chalk quarry fed by a large spring and given its bright blue colour by the chalk particles suspended in the water.

St Andrews Park is ideal for commuting with easy access to the M20 and M2, which are around three miles away, and London just 32 miles away. Trains from Halling station reach London in little over 45 minutes. The village itself has a Post Office and local shop while Bluewater Shopping Centre is just 13 miles away.
