Following the success of the first two phases at Chrysalis Park, a collection of family homes will soon be launched due to local demand. Providing a range of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes, available with the Help to Buy scheme, moving to New Chrysalis Park couldn’t be easier for second steppers.

Claudine Tilman-Brew, a mortgage advisor who recently moved into her Bellway home at New Cardington in Bedford with her two children comments: “Help to Buy was invaluable for our move here. It allowed us to purchase the property for a price I could afford, in the area we wanted to stay in. The sales team were really helpful throughout the whole purchase. The interest free loan from the government helped bridge the gap of the deposit which I couldn’t have done on my own.”

The Help to Buy scheme, subject to lender criteria, means homebuyers can purchase a home by paying just a 5% deposit, with a 75% mortgage and a government funded equity loan of 20%, which is interest free for the first five years, making up the balance of the purchase price.

The new four bedroom Fritillary is a great family home. The large entrance hall leads to a spacious living area with double doors opening out into the garden. A separate study and cloakroom is located near the kitchen / dining area which is the hub of the home. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, one with an en suite, and a further single bedroom and bathroom. Up on the second floor is the master suite, with an en suite and storage cupboard.

Transport links are superb from Stevenage - by train London Kings Cross is around 30 minutes away, and services to Leeds, York and Cambridge are frequent. Within and around the town there are extensive local cycleways linking all areas of the town, including Chrysalis Park. Excellent road links offer quick access to the A1(M) for travel both north and south. Luton and Stansted Airports are only 15 and 28 miles away respectively.

To avoid missing out, homebuyers who wish to take advantage of the new phase of family homes should book an appointment as soon as possible. Prices at New Chrysalis Park start from £124,995 for a one bedroom apartment and are available with the Help to Buy scheme, subject to lender criteria.
