The forthcoming opening of a brand new primary school is the latest milestone in the life of an exciting sustainable development that’s taking shape in Church Crookham, near Fleet in Hampshire.

In September, Tweseldown Infant School will be relocating to a brand new building in the heart of the Queensacre development, which forms part of Taylor Wimpey’s wider Crookham Park community located on the site of the former Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

The school’s opening in time for the new academic year comes hot on the heels of the launch of a popular Sainsbury’s Local supermarket at Queensacre, where 181 homes have already been snapped up by discerning buyers keen to be part of this new community.

In addition to the supermarket and school, two further shops are planned for the local centre at Queensacre, while attractive areas of open space have been provided for the benefit of residents with more set to be completed over time.

The wider Crookham Park project will also see the delivery of allotments, a community centre, sports pitches, children’s play areas and an athletics track, plus more than 400 acres of woodland and meadow – that’s the equivalent of 266 football pitches. Footpaths, trails and cycle paths are opening up in the area for people to enjoy, while a new bridleway has also opened on site, and is proving to be a huge hit with horseriders and walkers alike.

Emma Jones, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, says: “These are exciting times for Queensacre, as the new community is really beginning to take shape, with people moving in on a weekly basis and shoppers flocking to the new Sainsbury’s store.

“The opening of the infant school this autumn will be a significant milestone for Queensacre, and will mean children living here will benefit from a short walk to school that lasts no more than a few minutes, or even seconds!

“Anybody who wants to find out more about the fabulous new community at Queensacre just need to pop down and visit our Sales Information Centre and beautiful showhomes, and while they are there, take a stroll around the development to see for themselves how well things are shaping up here!”

There’s a selection of properties currently available to buy at Queensacre at Crookham Park, including three-bedroom homes priced from only £355,000 and four-bedroom houses from just £385,000.

Surrounded by woodland and open countryside, the new homes are also within easy reach of Church Crookham’s range of amenities for everyday needs, including shops, pubs and the infant school, plus a junior school.

Fleet railway station provides regular services to London Waterloo in under an hour, while the M3 is just four miles from home, putting the M25, Southampton and Portsmouth all within easy reach.

Property-seekers can find out more about the new homes available at Queensacre at Crookham Park by visiting the Sales Information Centre, located off Sandy Lane, Church Crookham, GU52 8LH, and open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
