As the property market continues to recover, there is much optimism for continued progress in the housing sector in Kent during 2014 and beyond. Set within the village of Stone, North Kent, approximately one mile from Dartford Town Centre and Bluewater Shopping Centre, a new development by Countryside called Stonechat Mews is launching on Saturday 19th July. Following the success of the preview weekend there has already been a number of reservations made, highlighting the demand for new homes in North Kent.

In Dartford, one of Kent’s busiest towns, property prices are likely to get a further boost now that plans have been revealed for a transformation of the retail and residential space to create a more vibrant, attractive and welcoming space for both residents and visitors alike.

Stonechat Mews is a collection of just 28 three and four bedroom newly built houses and 10 two and three bedroom refurbished apartments located within a beautiful setting. Residents will be able to enjoy the green space directly around them as well as the open spaces of Darenth Country Park and Darenth Wood just on their doorstep.

Its also well connected for those traveling into London for work or pleasure, transport links are excellent with Stone Crossing station offering trains to London Bridge, with a fastest journey time of 39 mins, or London Charing Cross, with a fastest journey time of 47 mins. Trains also run to Dartford (4mins) and Gravesend (12 mins).

Andrew Loveday, Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside comments: “Stonechat Mews offers the best of countryside living but with excellent transport connections, with the convenience of having Dartford Town Centre and all that it offers just on the doorstep. With a stylish mix of properties to choose from, there is something to suit a range of buyers who will all benefit from the regeneration of the area and the general increase in property prices that Kent is currently enjoying. Only 28 houses are available, so to avoid disappointment we advise potential purchasers get in touch as soon as possible.”

For those looking for family homes, there will be detached four-bedroom properties with double garage, open plan kitchen/breakfast room, separate living and dining rooms on the ground floor, a master bedroom with en suite on the first floor, plus three additional bedrooms.

Other properties on offer include a three storey, four bedroom house with two single bedrooms and a double guest bedroom on the first floor, a master suite on the top floor, and an integral car port.

There is a range of property types available and all homes are finished to a high specification offering the very best of contemporary living. Contemporary fitted kitchens come equipped with the full range of integrated appliances and bathrooms have quality white sanitaryware, chrome accessories and ceramic tiling with luxurious finishes. Each property has flooring fitted throughout, dedicated parking spaces, with some properties offering a double garage or car port. Outside, the homes feature a fully turfed rear garden with patio.

Its location for amenities could not be better. In addition to the variety of shops, restaurants and pubs that Dartford Town Centre has to offer, Stonechat Mews is only one mile from the fabulous Bluewater Shopping Centre. One of Europe’s largest shopping malls, it boasts over 300 stores and a luxurious 13 screen multiplex cinema, along with a plethora of restaurants and cafés.

Ebbsfleet International station is also a short car or bus journey away where the trains get you to London St Pancras in an impressive 17 minutes and also offers Eurostar services to the Continent*.
