Ramblers Worldwide Holidays are offering a two week, half-board Caribbean Explorer holiday spanning St Lucia; Martinique; Dominica and Antigua with the first departure on 26 November 2014.
 
This adventure begins on the verdant island of St Lucia with its wonderful coastal walks; botanical gardens; ancient town of Soufrière and the UNESCO Piton World Heritage Site.
 
After a short ferry ride, one heads to the French Caribbean island of Martinique where Napoleon's Empress Josephine was born.  Highlights here include, Forte de France; walks across the island from the Atlantic coast to the Caribbean Sea and the opportunity to swim from one of the many beautiful beaches.
 
Thence onto Dominica, a spectacularly wild, green island with rugged mountains, lush rain forests and swirling rivers.  Highlights include, the ancient routes developed by the Carib population and the perfect haven for nature lovers.  As an added dimension to this holiday, there is a cultural evening including a walk around Roseau and a visit to a private home where the owner gives clients the opportunity to savour traditional Carib cooking complemented by a rum tasting !
 
Next is the fascinating island of Antigua where one can take a hike in the rain forest, explore the capital of St John's and take a plunge at one of the island's famous 365 beaches – one for every day of the year !
