Polar travel experts Quark Expeditions has released their 2015/16 Antarctic voyages line up, with expeditions tailored to accommodate travellers of all fitness levels, interest groups and even those with time constraints.

Returning passengers will be delighted to find the same great Quark Expeditions itineraries offered for the 2015/16 cruise season, plus an additional fly-cruise itinerary enabling those with limited schedules to see the Antarctic as well as the Falklands and South Georgia in less time. Quark Expeditions is a leading provider of the fly-cruise program, a popular choice with those who wish to visit the remote region but don’t have the luxury of time required for a longer expedition. Those in search of a classic Antarctic expedition experience will still find many options available to them, from the 21-day Epic Antarctica, to Quark's most popular expedition, Antarctic Explorer, with 11 or 12-day itineraries.

"We're pleased to offer the Falklands and South Georgia via Fly-Cruise for those who are short on time, but want the complete Antarctic and southern ocean experience," said Hans Lagerweij, president of Quark Expeditions. "It's an option that's growing in popularity, as more and more people discover just how accessible the Antarctic has become. Even those with limited vacation time can take the trip of a lifetime to the Antarctic."

Two ice-class, purpose-built small expedition ships, the Ocean Diamond and the Sea Adventurer, carry Quark passengers in comfort to the seventh continent. The fuel-efficient Ocean Diamond is a modern super yacht offering spacious exterior cabins, an on-board photography program, Internet access and more with the capacity for 189 passengers. It is also the only ship sailing in Antarctica to offer Carbon-Neutral® voyages. A second ice-strengthened ship, the Sea Adventurer, can accommodate up to 117 passengers and features a spacious forward lounge and bar, promenades for taking in Antarctic vistas and 61 outside cabins with en-suite facilities.

"Our team of polar experts, from support staff to our polar-passionate on-board expedition teams, are really excited about what we're offering in 2015/16," said Lagerweij. "We've been leaders in polar cruising for over 20 years and take pride in constantly finding new programs and improving the whole experience for our passengers," he added. Lagerweij noted that passengers on board the Sea Adventurer will be the first to experience the new cabin and common area refurbishments, including new carpet throughout the ship, and new linens and drapes in the cabins and suites.

Quark will make an announcement shortly about a third Antarctic ship for the 2015/16 season.

Early Booking Bonus

As an added value, passengers who make reservations by November 15, 2014, will receive an early booking incentive of 25% off premium cabins and 15% off non premium cabins on select voyages. Conditions apply. For more information, visit quarkexpeditions.com.
