House-hunters will soon be able to take their pick from the first stunning new homes to be released for sale at Taylor Wimpey’s hotly-anticipated Heritage Gate development in Saxmundham, Suffolk.

Would-be homebuyers can find out more about this exciting collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties when the Sales Information Centre opens on Saturday 23rd August.

Caroline Carter, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re very excited to be launching this superb range of new homes, which enjoy an enviable location on the western fringes of the historic market town of Saxmundham.

“Purchasers at Heritage Gate will be able to benefit from easy access to an array of shops, pubs and schools close to home, while the nearby A12 offers excellent transport links along the coast.

“I would encourage anyone who’d like to be in with a chance of securing one of the first new homes on sale to come and visit us when the development launches on 23rd August.”

The Help to Buy equity loan scheme will be available at Heritage Gate, enabling eligible first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Heritage Gate enjoys a convenient location off Rendham Road on the western fringes of the historic market town of Saxmundham, and new footpaths will link the development to the surrounding area.

Saxmundham town centre has a range of high street and independent shops, Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets, a popular weekly market selling fresh produce, and pubs and places to eat, while parents will appreciate there’s a choice of schools for children of all ages nearby.

For commuters, the A12 is close by for quick links to Ipswich and Lowestoft, while Saxmundham railway station provides direct services to Ipswich for connections to London Liverpool Street. The ports of Felixstowe and Lowestoft are within easy reach for those travelling to the Continent.

Within a few minutes’ drive of the new homes is the beautiful Suffolk landscape which inspired the artist Constable, and some of the county’s prettiest villages, as well as the stunning scenery of the celebrated Suffolk coastline.
The charming coastal destinations of Aldeburgh and Southwold are just a short drive away for days out at the seaside.

Meanwhile, around 20 miles away is Ipswich, a thriving town that’s steeped in history and offers a vibrant mix of heritage, arts, theatre, cinema, clubs and bars, as well as a wide selection of shops.

To find out more about the first homes on sale at Heritage Gate, prospective purchasers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Rendham Road, Saxmundham, Suffolk, IP17 1EA, when it launches on Saturday 23rd August. The development will be open Monday from 1.30pm until 5.00pm and Thursday to Sunday 10am until 5.00pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
