Last chance to put down roots at Orchard Mews

Limited availability means buyers must hurry if they want to call Orchard Mews in Larkfield ‘home’.

The 55-home development on New Hythe Lane has been a great success and has clocked up an impressive sales rate since launching last summer.

Now with just a handful of properties available, Redrow is urging buyers to act fast to avoid disappointment.

The good news is that incentives are on offer to help get people moving.

Kerry Jenkins, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), said: “Homes at Orchard Mews have been hugely popular and over the course of the last year we’ve achieved a consistent sales rate. Based on the success to date it won’t be long before we’re celebrating a sell-out and we would encourage prospective purchasers to contact us without delay if they want to snap up one of the final homes available.

“Even those with a house to sell could find they’re able to secure a buyer and move here. With our Mastermove service we can help customers sell their property quickly and at full market value, with Redrow paying the estate agent’s fees. Alternatively we may be able to use the value of their current property as part payment for a brand new home. Essentially we’ll buy their home so they can buy one of ours.”

Alternatively, first time buyers or those who have sold their current home subject to contract could utilise Help to Buy. The Government-backed scheme offers buyers the chance to own a brand new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% share is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

The final homes at Orchard Mews include three-bedroom semi-detached Broadways and a detached Pembroke. Prices start from £282,995 or £226,396 with Help to Buy.

Orchard Mews is in the catchment area for a choice of schools, making it the ideal choice for those with children. There’s a supermarket close by and plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby Maidstone town centre. The area also boasts great transport links by road and rail with London around an hour away by train from Malling and New Hythe stations.

With only a few homes still available, the sales office at Orchard Mews has now closed. To be in with a chance of owning one of the final homes, see redrow.co.uk/orchardmews.
