Prospective purchasers can use the fantastic Help to Buy scheme to secure one of the last homes available at Taylor Wimpey’s hugely-popular Wyatt Grove development in Maidstone, Kent.

There are just a few homes remaining for sale at this sought-after development, the three-bedroom ‘Tildale’ and ‘Easedale’ houses, plus the four-bedroom ‘Whitford’ – meaning there’s a property to suit a range of buyers.

Under the Help to Buy equity loan scheme, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of the full price of their new home at Wyatt Grove – which means they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no surprise house-seekers have been quick to secure their pick of the plots at the development, which benefits from a fantastic location on the outskirts of Maidstone.

“But with only a limited number of properties now available, I would urge anyone who might be interested in calling Wyatt Grove home to act now – or they could find they’ve missed out on the place of their dreams!”

Priced £329,995, the three-bedroom ‘Tildale’ detached house boasts a generous dual-aspect living room and a large kitchen/dining room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside there’s also allocated parking.

Alternatively, the three-bedroom ‘Easedale’ semi-detached house is priced £282,995, while the four-bedroom ‘Whitford’ detached home is £379,995.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Wyatt Grove is located in the leafy residential area of Barming, on the western fringes of Maidstone.

Nestled amongst mature trees within the grounds of the former Oakwood Hospital, the development has been carefully designed to reflect the traditional architecture of this popular part of Kent and will include a secluded area of landscaped open space for relaxing, while there’s a recreation ground across the road.

All the amenities of Maidstone town centre, including shopping centres and a choice of supermarkets, are within easy reach, along with swimming pools, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema and theatres. Wyatt Grove also benefits from close proximity to a choice of good schools for children of all ages.

For commuters, the M20 is just two miles away while Barming station is just over a mile from home for regular rail services to London and to Ashford International for quick connections to the Continent.

To be in with a chance of securing one of the final homes on sale at Wyatt Grove, prospective purchasers can visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Marigold Way, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 0GF, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
