Fast-moving Oxfordshire property-seekers can now take their pick of the plots from a collection of stunning new Taylor Wimpey homes in Harwell, near Didcot.

Greenwood Meadows, a new development of 65 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes located off Grove Road, Harwell, was launched earlier this month and is already generating a buzz among discerning house-hunters.

Stephanie Kehoe, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are really excited to have launched the fabulous homes at our new Greenwood Meadows development in Harwell.

“These high-quality new homes boast a luxury lifestyle in a peaceful village location, and are already attracting a lot of attention.

“Property-seekers who can see themselves enjoying life at this new development should contact us without delay to find out about the first plots available – or risk missing out on their dream home!”

The first homes on sale now at Greenwood Meadows include the three-bedroom ‘Oakfield’ bungalow, from £382,000.

This stylish property boasts a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen, a master bedroom with en-suite access to the bathroom, two further bedrooms and a car port outside.

To make choosing one of the high-quality new homes at Greenwood Meadows even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.

The Government’s Help to Buy equity loan scheme will be available at the development, enabling buyers to secure a Government loan of up to 20% of their new property’s full price – so they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Alternatively, the leading housebuilder’s Part Exchange scheme will enable buyers trading up to selected family-size homes at Greenwood Meadows to receive a fixed price for their existing property, based on the average of independent professional valuations.

Harwell offers a number of day-to-day amenities, including a butcher, a newsagent/off-licence and a pub.

This bustling village has a variety of active clubs and societies, with a Royal British Legion branch, a Scout group, a tennis club, a horticultural society, a rugby club and Harwell Feast Committee, which organises a parade and fun day every May.

Parents will appreciate that the village has its own primary school, while a choice of secondary schools can be found in Didcot, including Didcot Girls’ School and St Birinus School, which was rated ‘good’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.

For commuters, Harwell is just 12 miles from the centre of Oxford via the A34 and only 11 miles from Junction 13 of the M4 for easy access to London and Bristol.

Meanwhile, Didcot Parkway railway station offers regular services to London Paddington, Bristol and Swindon.

The new homes at Greenwood Meadows are on sale from Taylor Wimpey’s nearby Atrium development. The Sales Information Centre is located off Wantage Road, Didcot, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays 1pm to 5pm). Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
