Pioneering digital technology is helping property-hunters to discover more about the new homes on sale at Chobham Manor, the first residential neighbourhood on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London.

Leading national homebuilder Taylor Wimpey and L&Q, one of London’s largest residential developers, launched the first phase of homes for private sale at Chobham Manor in May.

The digital VUITNOW tool allows property-seekers who visit the Sales and Marketing Suite to use the 100-inch touchscreens and iPads to take a virtual 3D tour of Chobham Manor, the Park and browse the homes for sale.

Users can also save and compare floorplans of the new homes, email screenshots to themselves and even see the view each apartment will benefit from.

Michael O’Leary, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Visitors to Chobham Manor have been amazed by the VUITNOW technology, which provides them with an easy, intuitive digital way of exploring the development and the homes here.

“We’ve experienced incredible demand for the Chobham Manor homes with over 100 properties already sold, and so I would urge would-be purchasers to pay us a visit as soon as possible to give themselves the very best chance of securing their pick of the plots – and of course, thanks to VUITNOW, they can try before they buy!”

The homes at Chobham Manor benefit from an incredible location, bordering Lee Valley VeloPark, the wide open spaces of the north of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and East Village, the former Athletes’ Village during the London 2012 Games.

The London Legacy Development Corporation and Chobham Manor LLP, a joint venture between Taylor Wimpey and L&Q, have designed a neighbourhood suitable for a wide-range of Londoners who want to build their lives in an exciting new community, including well-designed homes for people on a range of incomes.

Seventy-five per cent of the homes will be family homes with three or more bedrooms and 28 per cent of homes across the whole Chobham Manor development will be affordable homes, the first of which will be available in summer 2015.

The current release of homes for sale on the open market comprises four-bedroom houses and three-bedroom maisonettes and duplex apartments, with prices starting at £485,000.

Visitors to Chobham Manor have the opportunity to explore the two magnificent new show apartments and can view digital walkthroughs, models and floorplans of selected properties in the state-of-the-art Chobham Manor Sales and Marketing Suite.

Chobham Manor will consist of five principal types of housing planned for the development – townhouses, mews-style properties, maisonettes, mansion blocks and terraced apartments – ranging in size from one to five bedrooms.

Some properties have been designed to appeal to multiple generations of the same family, all family-sized properties will include outside space, including terraces, balconies, courtyards or gardens. Every home at Chobham Manor will be designed to the Lifetime Homes Standard, a number of which will be wheelchair friendly.

In addition to homes, the first phase of Chobham Manor will also include retail space, play areas and communal gardens.

The Sales and Marketing Suite and show apartments are located at Olympic Park Avenue, E20 5LR, and open daily between 10am and 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit chobhammanor.co.uk.
