Four beautifully designed showhomes are showing off the fantastic lifestyle on offer at picturesque Horsforth Vale, in Leeds.

With homes on sale from two neighbouring outlets at this impressive venture, Redrow felt that more than the usual quota of showhomes was required – hence the quartet of professionally designed, decorated and fully furnished homes that are now inspiring potential purchasers.

Two different interior design companies were invited to give each pair of showhomes their own distinct look and feel.

The two, three and four-bedroom homes at The Green are represented by a three-bedroom ‘Warwick’ and four-bedroom ‘Windsor’ showhome. With interior design by Bloc, the use of painted furniture in the Windsor gives a contemporary country feel and the fresh colour scheme features flashes of coral. The Warwick’s lounge boasts smoked oak furniture, textured wallpaper and there’s a light use of metallic colours in the master bedroom.

The children’s rooms in both showhomes are fun and modern with characters from popular books such as George’s Marvellous Medicine and The Gruffalo making an appearance.

The four-bedroom ‘Balmoral’ and ‘Sunningdale’ showhomes have been kitted out by interior designers Show Business Interiors to showcase the larger three, four and five-bedroom homes at The Limes.

In the Sunningdale, a soft ivory lounge is accented with heather tones and features ivory straight-lined solid wood furniture to create a relaxing room. The master bedroom has a bespoke headboard that sits against a heritage green soft wall to create an elegant feel.

Sian Jenkins, head of sales at Show Business Interiors, explained: “We’ve made sure that the rooms for the adults are perfect for winding down after a long day and that the children’s rooms are fun. The twin boys’ room has bunk beds, great storage and is dressed with all of the things that little boys love to play with. The little girl’s room features a nature theme with woodland wallpaper and pretty bird houses as part of the decor and there are plenty of rag dolls and teddies.”

The Balmoral features deeper heritage tones of sage greens and coppers in the lounge and the master bedroom is a haven of tranquillity, with soft gold tones and red edges to curtains and cushions. The children’s rooms are both doubles: the girl’s in soft pink tones with feature wallpaper adorned with art and craft pieces and the boy’s room is smart in ivory, navy and red. More than a hint of cricket memorabilia gives a nod to the sports fields and cricket pitch just across the road from Horsforth Vale.

The homes being built at Horsforth Vale are ideally situated about seven miles from Leeds with potential for stunning views of the valley. The neighbourhood is well served by good quality schools, making it perfect for buyers with families. There’s a good choice of shops in Horsforth and the area has lots of active clubs enabling homeowners to play a part in the local community.

The new showhomes and marketing suites on Calverley Lane are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
