Property-seekers can take advantage of one of the fantastic homebuyer incentives on offer at Taylor Wimpey’s popular Heritage Park development in Wixams, Bedfordshire, to secure their ideal property.

With a choice of great value schemes available, home-seekers will find they can purchase a stunning new place for less, whether they have a home to sell or not.

For example, existing homeowners can use the fabulous Part Exchange scheme to trade in their current property for the spacious four-bedroom ‘Fernlea’, priced £315,000, while first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of the full price of the two-bedroom ‘Saltwell’ house, priced £190,000, with Help to Buy.

Under Part Exchange, Taylor Wimpey will agree an offer price for the customer’s existing home, enabling them to avoid estate agent fees and lengthy chains. Meanwhile, the Help to Buy equity loan scheme means eligible purchasers only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “No matter what situation they’re in currently, prospective purchasers will find there is a fantastic money-saving scheme available to help them secure a wonderful new home at Heritage Park.

“To find out more about Part Exchange or Help to Buy, I would encourage would-be buyers to come and talk to one of our Sales Executives at the development as soon as possible.”

The ‘Fernlea’ detached house boasts a spacious living room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a separate dining room and a kitchen/breakfast room also benefiting from French doors to the garden, with a handy utility room and guest cloakroom completing the ground floor layout.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further double bedrooms and a main bathroom, plus a single garage outside.

Meanwhile, the ‘Saltwell’ semi-detached house features a living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a kitchen, a guest cloakroom, two bedrooms and a bathroom, with allocated parking outside.

Heritage Park is part of Lakeview, the first of four villages which will make up the self-contained, sustainable town of Wixams, three miles south-west of Bedford, which will benefit from new shops, community and leisure facilities, schools and employment areas, in addition to 300 acres of sports pitches, parklands and green open space.

A new transport network puts bus stops within comfortable walking distance of the homes, while a new railway station will provide quick links to London and nearby towns and cities. The re-aligned A6 and the A421 Bedford southern bypass put the region’s major commuter routes, including the M1 and A1, within easy reach.

To find out more about using Help to Buy or Part Exchange to secure a new home at Heritage Park, house-hunters can visit the Sales Centre, located at 1 Brooklands Avenue, Wixams, Bedfordshire, MK42 6AX, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays 12pm to 5pm). Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
