Premium kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living encourages children to get cooking with their latest social campaign #KidsKitchen.

The new campaign will look to inspire kids and parents alike to get their chef hats on over the summer holidays. Engaging with consumers through children’s recipes and family-friendly kitchen inspiration, Britannia’s social media platforms will provide plenty of activities and entertainment to keep kids busy throughout August.

Those who follow the brand on social media and share pictures using the hashtag will be in with a chance of winning the grand prize of an ice cream maker and a young chef’s baking kit, along with four runner-up baking kit prizes courtesy of Bigjigs Toys.

Michael Haigh, marketing manager at Britannia Living comments: “We are building a great social community and this month we are looking forward to seeing what kids are getting up to in the kitchen over their summer holidays!”

Every month for the remainder of the year Britannia’s campaign will offer inspiration in kitchen decor and styling through stunning images and mood boards, inviting consumers to share their kitchen experiences, as well as giving them the opportunity to win exclusive prizes.

Last month’s #CoolKitchen campaign saw the company team up with award-winning ice cream company Snugburys to offer a month’s supply of ice cream to one lucky winner.

Michael concludes “Our campaign is providing a different focus each month and got off to a strong start in July. Social media is a key focus for us, we’ve already generated an additional 1.8 million brand impressions since the start of 2014 and the aim is to continue building on this by engaging with all types of consumer.”
