Riverside View celebrates success

The Lancaster at Riverside View

Redrow's Lancaster venture has had a booming summer so far with nine homes sold in one month alone.

After such as successful July, Redrow is keen to show off the full potential of its Heritage Collection homes at Riverside View, including their outdoor spaces – and will do so with a garden party on August 23.

The development features a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, alongside the River Lune, close to the historic heart of Lancaster and only a mile from the train station. Buyers have been bowled over by the fantastic location and the quality of Redrow’s homes.

The popular Heritage Collection marries traditional Arts & Crafts inspired architecture with 21st century interiors. At Riverside View, Redrow has also introduced a specially designed, more contemporary looking housetype that’s bespoke to this location and designed to make the most of the surroundings. A selection of these prestigious three-storey, four-bedroom townhouses, called The Lancaster, will provide an attractive frontage overlooking the river.

The special garden party will be held in the garden of the showhomes at Riverside View between 12 noon and 4pm on Saturday, August 23, when more would-be homeowners are being invited in to discover more about the Redrow brand and the impressive Lancaster venture. Sculptor Lucy Cortese, who has just finished a residency at Lancaster Castle, will also be there holding demonstrations and selling some of her various stone carvings and household items.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “Lancaster is a new location for us so we’re thrilled with the positive response so far. The fact that we sold nine homes in July just goes to show that people in the area are getting to know the Redrow brand better; they’re finding out about the beauty of the Heritage Collection and also being impressed by the quality of our high specification interiors. We’re known for our outstanding reputation and excellent customer service and it’s good to know that our Lancaster visitors are recognising that.”

Current prices range from £99,995 for a two-bedroom apartment up to £303,995 for a four-bedroom family home, although these prices can be reduced by up to 20% using Help to Buy. The Government scheme allows home buyers to take out an equity loan, which is interest free for five years. They then only need a 75% mortgage and 5% deposit to purchase their new home and monthly mortgage repayments should be lower than expected.

Redrow’s development is only five minutes’ drive from the centre of historic Lancaster and the train station a mile away offers regular trains to Manchester, Preston and beyond. With a choice of primary schools and secondary schools close by the area is an excellent choice for families.

More two, three and four-bedroom homes are also coming soon.

The marketing suite and show home are open every day except Thursdays. For more information go online at redrow.co.uk.
