Home buyers in Stockton can find out everything they want to know about the latest home buying help when Vivo opens its doors for a Help to Buy weekend on the 23rd and 24th August.

Lovell and sister company, Muse Developments, will be tackling common misconceptions about the Government-backed scheme and answering visitors’ questions at the Northshore Road development, helping home buyers better understand how Help to Buy works.

Visitors will also be able to take advantage of free, unbiased advice from a mortgage adviser and find out more about the new homes currently available at Vivo.

Anita Onal, Sales Adviser at Vivo, comments: “We’re opening the doors at Vivo for a Help to Buy weekend and are inviting home buyers to come along to find out more.

“Home buyers have shown a real interest in the scheme since we launched it at Vivo, but many people don’t realise that Help to Buy is available for all types of purchasers, from first-time buyers to second steppers.

“This event is designed to inform home buyers of the help that is available to them, as there will be an opportunity to learn how the scheme works, find out if they’re eligible to use it and ask any questions they might have about Help to Buy.”

Anita will be joined by financial specialists, Mark Finch of Goldfinch Financial Services, who will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions visitors might have.

Mark, Managing Director at Goldfinch Financial Services, comments: “Help to Buy is an excellent opportunity for first-time buyers and existing home owners to either get onto the property ladder or move up it.

“The low deposit required by Help to Buy is proving really attractive for those wanting to buy a first home, as well as those who have been struggling to sell their existing property.

“We are finding that second-time buyers are now able to sell their current home at a reasonable price and afford a deposit on a new home using the scheme because it requires only a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with a 20% equity loan from the Government.

“Those who have been locked out of the market completely up until now or unable to sell are initially drawn to the low deposit, but Help to Buy also offers the benefit of low interest rates, making it a really affordable way to purchase a new home.

“Whatever type of home buyer you may be, come and visit us at Vivo to find out everything you need to know.”

Visitors to the Help to Buy weekend will also have an opportunity to find out more about the two-bedroom Aura-style home at plot 18, which comes complete with carpets and floorings and can be reserved using a 5% deposit of just £6697.50 when purchased using the scheme.

The Aura is well-designed for first-time buyers and features a high specification fully fitted kitchen with integrated cooking appliances, spacious living room opening onto the garden, a master bedroom with en-suite and a stylish family bathroom.

The Aura-style home if priced from £133,950.
