Devon property-seekers have been quick to secure their pick of the plots at Taylor Wimpey’s in-demand Monterey Park development in Bovey Tracey.

With just a few properties remaining on sale, the leading housebuilder is urging prospective purchasers to act now if they hope to join the satisfied customers at this fantastic new community.

Discerning homebuyers can choose from a range of four and five-bedroom homes set beside a picturesque stream and wildlife area.

Janine Copleston, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no surprise that our Monterey Park development has been proving so popular with buyers in Devon who are keen to secure a beautiful new home in an enviable setting.

“Anyone who would like to join our happy homebuyers at this stunning development should come and visit us without delay – or somebody else could beat them to one of the final properties on sale!”

Impressive four-bedroom homes are priced from £269,995, while five-bedroom designs are available from £334,995.

The five-bedroom ‘Chelmsford’ detached house, for example, is priced from £334,995 and boasts a light and airy living room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a kitchen/breakfast area – also benefiting from access to the garden – a separate dining room, a study, a utility room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom with dressing area, two further bedrooms which share an en-suite shower room, and a main bathroom, while two more bedrooms and a bathroom can be found on the top floor, Outside, there’s allocated parking, while selected ‘Chelmsford’ plots also benefit from a garage.

Alternatively, the four-bedroom ‘Danbury’ showhome is available to buy for £314,995 and feature a living/dining room, a kitchen/breakfast area, a guest cloakroom, a further first-floor living room, an en-suite master bedroom, three additional bedrooms and a main bathroom. The ‘Danbury’ showhome comes complete with all furniture, fixtures and fittings – plus a conservatory!

The Help to Buy equity loan scheme is available at Monterey Park, enabling eligible first-time buyers and those with a home to sell to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new property’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Enjoying a stunning setting, Monterey Park is located in the small rural town of Bovey Tracey, on the edge of the famous Dartmoor National Park. Close to home is a selection of day-to-day amenities while Newton Abbot is a short drive away with its choice of pubs, restaurants, tea shops and high street shops.

A swimming pool, a leisure centre and a golf course can all be found within five miles of the development, while parents will appreciate that there are a number of primary and secondary schools within easy reach.

Junction 31 of the M5 is around 15 miles away for commuters, and Newton Abbot railway station offers services to London Paddington, Reading, Bristol and Plymouth.
